It is high anxiety time-we leave for Pine Ridge on Wednesday, 7/31 at 6am.  There is much that will be different about this trip-first and foremost, we will not have the benefit and luxury of traveling with the Wings Like Eagles Group, who provided our food, cultural activities, general support, and caravaning during travel in past trips.  We are going it alone, and while I am not afraid of this; as previously mentioned, I am very anxious!  Another difference will be the size of the group.  We are taking a group of 18 students this time–each year our group grows in size from 6 the first year, to 14 last year, and now 18.  My fellow instructor, Lisa, and I have stressed patience and flexibility for the group so now I have to make sure that I follow my own advice.  I will be blogging like last year–hope you follow along with us during our travels (and maybe wish us good luck and possibly a prayer or two for safe and purposeful travels!).  Julie
